Most Intel agencies agreed he had wmd because we gave it to him in the 80s =/ In the end, the decision was very bad, but it wasn't some conspiracy to kill a bunch of people for oil. Following WWII, the US found itself filling the vacuum of power from a devastated Europe. We unfortunately became the police force of the world, and everyone gets nervous around police. It's a duty I hope we share more in the future =/

I defiantly understand your point, and I am no supporter of foreign entanglements, but there is far more to the story than the one-sided perspective offered in this film. Imo, many things were considered in the decision to invade Iraq, but the once the decision is made, propoghanda is used to sell it. Yes oil was considered, but the US hasn't raped the iraqis of their oil as many suggest. The US has also handed over power to the Iraqis, so the notion of conquering doesn't really apply either.

Use propaganda to make us pay tax or stop smoking, or accept immigrants, homosexuallity etc etc. US use it to invade countries and kill millions for some geopolitical agenda. Wich one of the two examples is a diabolical conspiracy and wich is harmless and maybe even good for the population?

Although I understand the perspective of media companies, I am very much against SOPA. I did my wiki-duty and contacted my two senators. Media companies need to provide better availability at more reasonable costs. I am also against unlawful detention, it certainly isn't the first time in our history it has happened. That all being said, I still think that Psywar is a piece of propaganda complaining about propaganda, its ironic to a laughable degree. ;)

Don't we want all the information to be presented and then allow people to make up their own minds? People are not forced to accept propaganda. Prof. Jhally reduces us to mindless robots. He is only partially right. I do think he presents some very good information that more people should be aware of. =)
