@jlsr1000 I second that thought...that he is talking about republicans and their campaign to deregulate policy and lower taxes on the wealthy all in the name of trickle down economics. The sad thing is that most people buy this and they will fight tooth and nail anyone who thinks that we should try and maybe help those who are less fortunate and develop everyone.

YappyRaccoon Says:
@marcbaber The point you are missing is that this is fully negative and very unhealthy to be pushing into the innocent minds of happy youngsters who are still trying to enjoy life. A lot of very bad, very miserable things are true but is that what young people should be spending their lives focussing on instead of having fun???

YappyRaccoon Says:
George knew he was going to croak very soon so he used his 'comedy' shows to nag about politics using all the same cliche bitching and moaning that all old people in bars do for hours every night. YOu gotta have an IQ under 30 to get in this shit everytime you hear it. Anyone can bitch about the corrupt government and be completely right about it, but is it really entertaining to keep doing it?

@marcbaber You're dumb. Carlin is right in the sense that our government is bought and paid for. I start to have a problem with his philosophy when he says that there is nothing you can do about it.

Karmaffix Says:
This video has dislikes..?? all i can think of as to why people would do that is because it's from people who don't want to accept the fact that what this man says is in fact true, denial basically. An ignorance that will consume their true freedom in the end, all their life. The more people stay in denial about things like this the more they are preventing change. A better way of life, It's a shame.

rusalkin Says:
really hard to argue against what he said, carlin had this essence about him where u know instantly that he is telling the truth, in a world full of bullshit this is so refreshing, a dose of sanity

flwebpro Says:
George Carlin battled for the truth and became one of the greatest comics of all time, even though his career was hindered greatly as he was scapegoated in frivolous lawsuits, funded by the true power structure, all the way to the supreme court. He paid a high price for speaking truth to power and that is why I think he became more profane at the end of his life. The harsh words are not gratuitous he was trying to shake his audience awake to the grim reality.

George Carlin was a blasphemous sinner, who is now burning in the flames of hell! God shall not be Mocked!

My man George made one mistake: he did that rant "don't vote" awhile back. Not good, George. ALL you motherfuckers get out and vote!
