@GuyWithGuitars1 I agree, But their country also allowed us to enslave them. We do butt in and do alot of unecessary shit, also where we are not wanted in the first place.
johnhkohler Says:
Jesus existed and came to bring a message about God. That's the one point he was wrong on. Everything else I 100% agree.
swole74 Says:
He was 70 years old... Carlin was and always will be the greatest comic of all time... Until someone is better.... Why are y'all arguing petty things.... He was the best
nyerndc Says:
George met Jesus and God I hope they tok mercy on him. he needs it.
kurdtLycan Says:
@butchermachine Fair enough. I don't consider the bible to be a reliable source of history myself. Mesopotamia and it's surrounding areas gets pretty vague that far back in time. However, for some to continue to perpetuate The United States as the slave hub of all history around the world is getting pretty silly. It's simply not true.
butchermachine Says:
@kurdtLycan Jews being enslaved in Egypt? Sorry, but, outside of the Bible, no one has any evidence of that.
Tw1St3DSt33L Says:
@kurdtLycan Lincoln abolished slave ownership (in most states, some still had slaves) because he needed European support. They had abolished it before. Think about this, the civil war ended in 1865, black people had rights in 1965.
Tw1St3DSt33L Says:
holy shit we have 25 rights? doesn't feel like it. noose is still tight
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 And yes in 1682 there were slaves. Even earlier. How about the Egyptians enslaving the Jews? Ever read that one? The blacks enslaving people? Look up Liberia. Find out about Monrovia. I know I am wasting my time on you but at least it has been posted.
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 Just search Slavery in the United States or something.
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 The entire Western Hemisphere had slaves. Not just North America. Do you know what a Hemisphere is? The Emancipation Proclamation came into play long after the war started. Slavery was not the prominent issue of the Civil War it was States Rights versus the Federal Government. I'm not trying to bully you, it's just your ideas are ignorant. Look, Wikipedia is the training wheels of the internet. Start there.
GuyWithGuitars1 Says:
@kurdtLycan Oh, here we have another internet know it all. So, let me get this straight. In 1682, long before we we're a 'free' country, we had slaves. Then, about 90 years later we fight the British for independence and declare ourselves the land of liberty yet retain slaves for almost another 100 years? Sounds like smoke and mirrors to me. Get -your- facts straight, dad.
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 Lol. More like 330 years ago before we were even a country. Get your shit together son.
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 In your close tie to Civil War History, can you explain to me why we were the only country in the Western Hemisphere that needed a war to end slavery?
GuyWithGuitars1 Says:
@systemofaComputer Well, we WERE at war with Japan.
GuyWithGuitars1 Says:
@kurdtLycan Yeah, the states 'rights' to perpetuate the slave trade. I have a very close tie to Civil War history, seriously. Even Abe was very aware of the hypocrisy of the country. I can't quote him, but he said basically what I'm saying - as long as people are enslaved one way or the other, there is no freedom here. All smoke and mirrors. Listen to or watch Michael Badnarik. He puts it all straight.
kurdtLycan Says:
@GuyWithGuitars1 Actually, slavery was established on this continent well before it became the United States. Also, slavery was rampant over the entire Western Hemisphere and we were the only country that needed a "war" to end it. War was not needed in England, Spain, Portugal etc. Perhaps the Civil War was about states rights eh?
breckandy Says:
I will always miss him, he was/is my spiritual adviser.
subzero6828 Says:
George's probably in hell right now but the devil loves him for making fun of his brother or depending on the mythology well fuck it because he's making fun of god

R.I.P. GEORGE CARLIN!!
TheDougass Says:
R.I.P. Mr. Carlin, i wish the world had more people who spoke the truth like you. The funny thing is that I have learned more from comedians like George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Joe Rogan, Duncan Trussell, Brian Callen among many others than I did my entire time attending "school" or listening to some hack politician. We need people who speak the truth unfiltered, wether its controversial or not politically correct especially now more than ever; George Carlin speaks the sobering truth. Peace and love
