I found it less funny that the version i know. "Maybe he's at home watching tv" or "Maybe he's at home banging the babysitter" That last one just has that little bit extra punch. This version just sounds like self-censorship, and to me, George Carlin was always about freedom, especially freedom in language, no restrictions.
