As I watch these videos, I see two very different species of pilots. One kind assumes and hopes all will go well. The first kind of pilot is more like the passengers, just going along for the ride, and he is always surprised and never ready when things go wrong. The second assumes no such thing. The second kind of pilot hopes for the best, but never assumes it and never depends on it. He prepares for the worst, although he hopes (of course) for the best. Give me the second kind of pilot.

this crash was so unnecessary, worst pilot error i've read about...the programming errors were absurd, i question the training of the crew as far as the computer & navigation errors.. c'mon this is scarey..
