I often dream of a world that prioritizes for the sake of improving quality of life for the community as a whole, not simply their own ilk. The only problem I find with this dream is a simple question: How do we remove the inherent selfishness of human nature without removing personal liberty and freedom? I love Carlin but he was quite off the mark here. Competition is essentially backwards. We are only where we are due to egalitarianism, co-operation where everybody is a winner. Bizarrely, we've trapped ourselves in a modern self-destructive 'survival of the fittest' with an ingrained notion that we must 'succeed' as the expense of others. If we are to have any hope of existing in the future a re-conditioning to act in positive co-operative spirit. This is funny and clever nonetheless.

@rrrrko This is the difference between most comedians, and George Carlin: He's not telling jokes. Everything he says in his acts are very real and very true. It just so happens that the truth is humorous(and he makes it hilarious). Carlin, in a nutshell, is an entertaining philosopher.
