BUT your approach is superb. Any newbie will find your "drag" idea, along with the 5 simple steps, very simple to follow - and to get round the golf course with fun very quickly. With that quick start, one can enjoy and stick with it, or use it as a foundation to tweak things. I applaud your teaching..

Because she is not lined up correctly to the white plank! Her body is aimed right. Seh doesnt practice what she's saying. Watch stage 2 at 3:20 paying close attention to how high her follow through comes, then listen as she states "and the club head below my hands"! Ok vid but i've seen better.

One of the problems beginners experience, is their backswing is too fast. Your backswing can be super slow and does not change your power or accuracy, so practive pausing at the top of your swing. The other mistake is "jabbing" at the ball, whereby you pull out of that follow through. Therefore you are relying on your hand speed to generate ball speed.
