@megamanX992 its "Negima! Magister Negi Magi". 1st just has the "!" the 2nd has "!?". The first series follows the manga till like ep 22. The main difference is the story follows Negima and Asuna (main girl) closer. Whereas in the 2nd series (this opening) all the girls are pretty much equal. +2nd series way more funny and more action but like i said before its better to see 1st series first for background info.

@TheLordofMetroids There were OVAs released in Japan that follow the manga, but they are only of select portions of the story, so you have to read the manga to understand any character backgrounds when you watch those.

This anime was actually very good but when you get to Episode 12-13 it becomes a mess. I seriously don't know what happened with the anime staff. Its like they used this remake as a merchandise to promote the manga which was a shame because this manga series had so much to offer as an anime.

btw, the manga it´s just as awesome as everyone has told you it is!!! great character developmente and great backstory!!! you get 0 of that on many other shounens, however, since the anime is completly different, I think I´ll just skip it, I don´t want to feel dissapointed....
