How do you define "politics"? And what are the alternatives? The way I see it there have never been a human society without some kind of politics, that is a way to organise and restrict certain aspects of life (laws, way's to make decition etc.). The way to rule a small tribal community would also qualify as politics in my view. I don't concider politics a "system", but rather there are amultitude of possible systems. The way I see it, the question is not "if", but "how".
