You're comparing a Bentley and a Hyundai. Dudley Moore was an actor. Russel Brand is a warm set of shoes. Have you SEEN the abomination of Arthur (2011)? Why not remake JAWS? How about Star Wars? Some movies were perfect when they were filmed. Don't fcuk with perfection. Let me speak "STUDIO" language here... 1981: Budget $7 million, Box office $95,461,682 [13.6x investment] 2011: Budget $40 million,Box office $45,735,397 [JUST over break even!]

Actually, during the first 40 mins of the movie, I was really ticked by his laughter. However, I progressed to find out that the character is actually a beautiful person. Dudley Moore is definitely one of the most talented all-rounders ever, amazing musical, comedic and acting capabilities. There'll never be another one like him. The fact that Hollywood dumped him during his last years is just saddening.

My science teacher from last year recommended that I watch this movie, so I watched the original trailer and was . . . extremely apprehensive and unwilling to watch it after seeing it. Nevertheless, I still watched it and now it's one of my all-time favorite movies, and I have to say that I absolutely agree with you on this one. This trailer captures the essence of the movie and Arthur Bach's character a lot better than the original.

I JUST talked about this movie; and Dudley, in particular, to my teen last night. I'd bet everything the new one's a throwaway in comparison

wow...i can see why they call it a remake
hptriogal Says:
I like the remake. It's genteler, more lovable in a sweet and kind way. Plus, it reminds me of Hana Yori Dango!!

What's the song that starts :52?
MegaJaystar1 Says:
I haven't seen it and never will. But I knew it wouldn't compare, because they would never compare to key points. Sir John is irreplacable, and Dame Judy was an insult.
cleancab Says:
Forget the lame remake, watch this one!!!
SethHesio Says:
Good for you. The remake is still unnecessary and shite in my opinion though.
TheDeerFolk Says:
I just saw the remake, it's OKAY. Not as nearly as good as the first one obviously. But it was, what is was, and the humor made me laugh.
MsJune54 Says:
LOVE this movie and Dudley.... he was such a sweet & funny man....I have no interest in seeing the remake....thanks for posting this trailer
SethHesio Says:
@StevenJames1995 The remake with Russell Brand is absolute shit.

sisigwithrice Says:
the new one's pretty shitty, Greta Gerwig is NOT Liza Minnelli
orlandovice100 Says:
"Dudley Moore" is a timeless actor, he's legendary, I hope God is enjoying your comical humor.
SethHesio Says:
The one and only Arthur. Dudley Moore at his finest. You'd have to be arrogant and money hungry to try to remake this classic.
