Are you a truth seeker? Search for "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then click on "The Present" to open it. What it says will blow your mind. This is not religion or politics or any other BS, it is truth you can check with logic and reason.

Voting is a complete and total waste of time! its also giving power to a scam & no one likes to look like a fool, your vote does not count! do something that does.!

By the way, I recommend you guys check out a guy by the name of Jon Trudell. There's a video up on Youtube which I makes a great supplement to this Carlin video where he explains why he is a non-voter. It does a great job of teaching of how just not voting alone isn't powerful unless you supplement it with additional methods of non-cooperation. A lot of the ideas I'm sharing are actually from him and that video. So check him out. End of shameless promotion.
MrEniena Says:
Here's the thing about money: a government cannot run without it. I know it's a very unlikely thing but just imagine if a majority of the people in this country, in any country, were to stop spending its government's money. While people would suffer (a sad Catch-22, I admit) The government would be on its knees. This act of massive non-cooperation would be more damaging than a barrage of bullets or a violent revolution. But, like I said, it would take HUGE conviction to do.
MrEniena Says:
There is this one fellow by the name of Daniel Suelo who has completely abandoned using money. However, because he is abandoning something that has become mental chain in society's mindset, he's been forced to have to live out in a cave, live off the land and has accepted the charity of others from time to time. That's the price he's had to pay for abandoning such a huge mental crutch and he's still alive. So it is possible to abandon money, but it takes willpower and conviction to do so.
AnnaNicolesDeathbed Says:
Furthermore, people don't really have issues with the currency. They have problems with crooked politicians and ass backward policies.
AnnaNicolesDeathbed Says:
You know, this is by FAR, the best rebuttle that I have ever heard in response to the anti-voting argument. I get what you are saying, but I also get why people would quit voting but not do these other things. It's easy to quit voting. Anyone can do it. I dont vote. But people can't really quit using money. There isnt a market for a bartering system. You have to take it one step at a time.
ChainsawVsGod Says:
The difference is you can come over here and take a photo of me. Touch me. Ask me things. And also I don't claim to be a god so your analogy utterly falls down and it shows how much of a fucking idiot you are well done.

hey there.. :D iv never seen u before.. i dont think ill ever see u.. so i believe u dont exist..
MrEniena Says:
Are you sure? I got a message in my inbox from you. It's supposed to be here but I can't find it anywhere. Doesn't matter, sorry I brought it up. Anyway, back on topic, you do make a good point about not voting for the lesser of two evils and voting for other parties. I actually voted for Gary Johnson of the Libertarian party this year. I know that he won't win because too many Americans are stuck in a two party paradigm, but god it feels good knowing I for actual tried to vote for real change.
AliceNchainz011 Says:
I didn't remove anything. What are you talking about? Simply put, on a macro-level, people have to stop buying into the belief that there are only two choices in the Democrat-Republican dictatorship. Voting for someone "unelectable" would probably yield the best results, but even an honest politician can be bought or if not, then killed.
MrEniena Says:
AliceNchainz, you removed your comment asking me how I live without taxes. I'm actually just postulating some ideas about non-cooperation because I'm more of a political philosopher and love a debate. I acknowledge that more extensive tactics non-cooperation have to be taken in order to enact real change to society. Plus I wanted to see how the users here who advocate voluntary non-voting would react were I to inject the concept of non-cooperation. Probably just killed the debate now didn't I?
MrEniena Says:
Were enough people to just not pay taxes how then could the government run properly? It can't. It would simply begin to collapse and is one of the few things that can defeat a government without armed revolution. And you're right, there's a Catch-22 where the poor are going to suffer. If you really want to help the poor then we need to actually go out and help them were this route to be taken. Compassion will always trump pieces of paper with man-made values.
MrEniena Says:
Again you're missing the point. If you just don't vote at all then the system will not care. Like I said, if you just don't vote the leaders in charge will simply shrug and say "fuck 'em. They don't want to vote we'll just pick out our own people right in front of them." If you want to send a message then you have to do more than just not vote. Because if not voting worked then why isn't the government pushing to make it compulsory like in other countries like Australia?
AliceNchainz011 Says:
How do you get by by not using the currency? Also, do you pay taxes? You must work right? Be honest....don't worry, i won't report you to the IRS
AliceNchainz011 Says:
It's a bit extreme, but it's living off the grid. The other person said to stop using the u.s. currency...apparently, you agree with him. Not paying taxes is another stupid idea, since the poor are depending on welfare and foodstamps now more than ever. Even Carlin believed that we should help the poor. It's easy to sound rebellious without thinking things through.
shawnc666 Says:
Rebuking this current system in ways such as not voting does not mean one wishes to go back to "hunter gatherer"...... Christ....really ???? sheesh
shawnc666 Says:
I agree with you ....we should do all of these AND MORE..... Why don't 100 million of us go march on the White House property and take it back??? One thing about the 'not voting' is that it is a GREAT way to reject the system WITHOUT losing anything. It's something all could do (even those who need their crappy stuff)
SnoweyMan111 Says:
Frankly. As a bright, intelligent and narcissistic individual. Politics would be one of the last areas I head into. So any other area, that's where they at.
