Compared my ETrac to Vaquero on a dime, 6" down. I set ETrac and Vaquero to highest sens without chatter. My standard "park settings" on my Vaquero get me 7 - 8 inches on coins.
This is as real life a test as I could do, very simple but effective. This is just showing Tesoro's excellence. I am not saying the teknetics is not a great value detector because it is, but the Cibloa is much better in this type of hunting.

A great example of why a test garden is so valuable for controlled testing to squeeze the most out of your detector. It is possible for results to vary from detector to detector. Please let me know if this does/doesn't work for you. Note: Both tabs are at 4"

The Tesoro Compadre is in my opinion the best entry level metal detector. The main reason is it's high operating frequency. Higher then all other entry level detectors. It is also one of if not the cheapest detector you can say is NOT a toy.
